Terms applicable to quotes and projects.
These terms explain scope validation, production start, and what happens when files, quantities, materials, or dates change.

Nature of a quote
An initial request or estimate is not a production order. A formal quote remains subject to technical review of files, dimensions, tolerances, quantities, materials, finishes, availability, and delivery destination.
Validity and acceptance
Each quote is valid until the stated date. Acceptance occurs through written approval, payment of the requested deposit, or explicit instruction to begin work.
Deposits and payments
Production begins after scope confirmation and receipt of the stated deposit. Balances are due before delivery or shipment unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Scope changes
Changes after approval may affect price and timing. Additional work, new versions, client-file corrections, reprints, or rework require authorization and may be quoted separately.
Timing and delivery
Lead time begins after deposit, information, and final approved files are received. Estimated dates may change due to revisions, delayed responses, suppliers, carriers, or causes outside Nectar's reasonable control.
Files and intellectual property
The client represents that it has rights or authorization for submitted files, marks, and content. Nectar retains ownership of prior tools, processes, and developments unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Cancellations
Deposits applied to completed work, purchased materials, or reserved capacity are non-refundable. Any possible credit is determined according to actual progress and commitments.
Warranty and applicable rights
Warranty is governed by the published warranty policy and quote-specific conditions, without limiting mandatory rights that may apply.
